MGM Resorts’ Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, New Jersey, has partnered with BetMGM Poker to present the Borgata Winter Poker Open. This anticipated event will showcase a total guarantee of $10 million and will be a significant addition to the 2024 poker calendar.
Scheduled to run from January 1 to January 26, 2024, the Borgata Winter Poker Open will provide poker fans with an exciting start to the new year. The festivities will commence with a Kick-Off Event featuring an $800 buy-in and a $2 million guarantee.
A series of 20 secondary and satellite events will be offered to participants. In addition, BetMGM has organized various tournaments, including the Almighty Million Event and a five-day No Limit Hold’Em event, which will be the highlight of the Borgata Winter Poker Open. The latter event will require $5,300 buy-ins and will boast a $3 million guarantee.
BetMGM Poker is set to serve as the exclusive online registration and qualifications partner for the event. Beginning in December 2023, poker enthusiasts will have the opportunity to secure packages for the Borgata Winter Poker Open tournament, allowing them to participate in multiple tournaments and partake in the full MGM experience. Online qualifiers on the BetMGM Poker app will also provide players with the chance to qualify for the event, with some qualifier events featuring entry fees as low as $2.

The announcement of the Borgata Winter Poker Open comes amid the ongoing Borgata Poker Fall Mini-Series, scheduled to conclude on November 19. Additionally, BetMGM recently launched a Borgata Bingo online app in New Jersey, catering to bingo fans and offering premium bingo excitement to residents in the Garden State.
