Playtech Expands Agreement with BoyleSports for Exclusive Live Casino Offering
London, UK – Playtech, a leading technology company in the gambling industry, has recently extended its agreement with BoyleSports, a global sports betting and gaming company. The original agreement, set to end in 2025, has been expanded to preserve Playtech’s exclusive provider position for its Live Casino offering until 2025. Additionally, Playtech will maintain exclusivity over BoyleSports’ branded live casino tables, award-winning Poker, and Bingo content until the end of 2028.
Panos Scoursis, Playtech’s commercial director, expressed excitement about the expanded agreement, stating that they are committed to delivering innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of their customers. He also emphasized their dedication to promoting responsible gaming practices.
Similarly, BoyleSports’ gaming director, Steve Payne, praised the “strong and successful partnership” with Playtech and described the extended agreement as an exciting opportunity to grow their business and provide the best possible experience across all verticals.
This news comes after reports of a £700 million takeover attempt from Playtech for British gambling company William Hill. Additionally, in December, Playtech joined the Danish betting and casino trade group Spillebranchen and business-to-business solution provider Evolution.
BoyleSports, known as Ireland’s largest independently owned sportsbook, was founded in 1982 and currently operates over 390 shops across the UK and Ireland. They recently appointed Michail Koutsoukos, with extensive experience in the industry, as their new head of customer engagement.
The expansion of the agreement between Playtech and BoyleSports signals a continued commitment to delivering high-quality gaming experiences and growing their respective businesses.
