A fatal gunfight in Las Vegas has resulted in the deaths of two individuals, with a third person currently fighting for their life in the hospital. A fourth victim was also injured but is expected to recover.
The shooting took place near the Strat Hotel, Casino & SkyPod at the end of the Vegas Strip. According to reports, the four men were engaged in an argument on West Chicago Avenue. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is still unsure of what sparked the altercation, but it quickly escalated to gunfire.
While many bystanders witnessed the shooting, fortunately, none of them were harmed. However, the same cannot be said for the participants involved in the altercation. One man died at the scene due to his injuries, and three others were transported to Valley Hospital Medical Center. Unfortunately, one of the injured men succumbed to his wounds at the hospital.
At present, one of the two remaining survivors is fighting for their life, while the other is expected to recover. Detectives are currently investigating the scene of the shootout to determine the number of shots fired and have confiscated the firearms as evidence.
Although no charges have been filed at this time, it is likely that the two survivors could face charges due to their involvement in the incident. The identities of the four men involved have not been disclosed, and autopsies are expected to be conducted to confirm their identities and causes of death.
