He also highlighted the opportunity for operators to share best practices and ensure the safest gambling opportunities in the world.
Last year’s event saw significant success, with over 200,000 accounts setting deposit limits and a 12.5% increase from the previous year. Additionally, the use of reality check alerts and monitoring play duration saw a remarkable 300% increase, while social media engagement soared to nearly 30 million impressions on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
Safer Gambling Week plays a crucial role in promoting initiatives such as encouraging deposit limits, time-outs, and directing customers to various self-exclusion services.
