SIS Expands Horse Racing Offering with Korea Racing Authority Partnership
Sports Information Services (SIS), a leading provider of betting services for gambling operators worldwide, has announced a new partnership with the Korea Racing Authority. This partnership will allow SIS to significantly enhance its horse racing offering by adding premium horse racing fixtures from Korea to its live racing content.
With this new agreement, SIS will have access to over 200 fixtures annually from Seoul and Busan, comprising a total of 1,800 races. This move will substantially expand the company’s Asian content offering and create new opportunities for global operators. This collaboration comes on the heels of SIS’s recent expansion into South Africa and Australia, further demonstrating the company’s commitment to growing its international racing content.
In addition to expanding its live racing content, SIS aims to leverage the access to premium horse racing fixtures to create new betting opportunities for operators worldwide. The company recently announced its decision to phase out its greyhound simulcast operations in the United States by the end of 2023, further highlighting its focus on horse racing content.
SuHyeong Lee, the head of international races and relations at the Korea Racing Authority, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating that the Authority believes it will successfully increase the popularity of Korean horse racing globally. Lee also praised SIS for its strong position in offering racing content from around the world.
Conall McSorley, SIS’ head of international horse racing, EMEA, emphasized the importance of offering quality racing fixtures from Korea and predicted that the new partnership would create new betting opportunities for both bettors and operators in different markets. He expressed confidence that the new horse racing product would be well-received by the industry.
The partnership with the Korea Racing Authority demonstrates SIS’s ongoing commitment to enhancing its racing content and providing its global partners with premium betting services. With the addition of Korean horse racing fixtures, SIS continues to strengthen its position as a leading provider of international racing content for gambling operators.
